Enable Lighter Menus to Speed Up Dashboard Navigation

Speed up your navigation in your dashboard! Go to Plugins and enable the Lighter Menus plugin. Once activated, you’ll see and immediate change in the way your control panel-dashboard looks.

Instead of having to click 2 or 3, or even more, times to get to the section within your dashboard you want to be, you’ll have a drop-down menu at the top of your dashboard to choose exactly where you want to go within one click!

Lighter Menus will help you save time and energy and make using your blog a lot more fun to work with!

Site Updated and GEARable

We have updated KansaiBlogger again, something we do quite often since the Internet evolves continuously as well. We do this in order to keep your blog secure and up with technology.

You won’t see many changes in your control panet-dashboard compared to the previous version. One change you will see immediately is an RSS feed of our latest posts to help better inform you of changes.

One more very convenient update to your blog is GEARS, which allows your blog to load faster on your computer by storing images, scripts, and CSS files locally on your computer. This speeds up page load time. However, you don’t want to run the GEARS Turbo on a public computer. Only do this on your personal computer.

To find the GEARS function, log into your dashboard. Once logged in, look to the top right of your opened window and you’ll see the word Turbo. Click that to turn on the GEARS function.

GEARS is an open source project created by Google that enables more powerful web applications, by adding new features to your web browser:

Desktop Let web applications interact naturally with your desktop
Database Store data locally in a fully-searchable database
WorkerPool Run JavaScript in the background to improve performance
